"We started out in Emil's parents' bicycle cellar at Eichenstraße 25," recalls Jacob Leffers, one of the founders of Oak 25, to our podcast hosts Nadja Müller and Saravanan Sundaram in the latest episode of Thanks for Shopping.
Oak25 - the name exudes coolness and safety, just like the concept of the young founders Jacob and Emil, who, at 16 and 15 years old, have made it their mission to make everyday life on the road smarter and safer for cyclists and pedestrians. The reflective backpacks and bum bags from Oak25 - inspired by the place where the company was founded in their parents' house on Eichenstraße - are based precisely on these elements in their development: Safety & Coolness.
Thanks to a Kickstarter campaign and the acquisition of well-known investors, the company of the two young founders was able to take off and set the course for success: In this episode of "Thanks for Shopping", Jacob tells us exactly what the founding and development process of Oak25 looks like and how they wanted to align their future strategy.
