The fynax annual review - our highlights of 2023

Have you already taken a look at your Spotify year in review? We in the fynax editorial team did and thought: why don't we take a look back at our year too? And that's exactly what we'd like to do together: look back on a year full of exciting projects, new team members and successful collaborations. From trade fair participations, to the creation of our own TikTok channel, to our top articles from the fynax blog, we have prepared a colorful mix of content for you and present you with our personal highlights of 2023.

Our highlights 2023

It has been an eventful year for us at fynax and right at the beginning we were able to welcome our new colleague Fatih-Kagan Taskoparan to our editorial team! Together with the fynax team, we also attended many different e-commerce trade fairs, such as the E-Commerce Berlin Expo, the Amazon Seller Day and the Finance E-Commerce Day, where we regularly took to the stage as speakers. We have included the best impressions for you here.

The OMR Festival in Hamburg was a highlight for us: With world stars such as Serena Williams and many well-known influencers such as Pamela Reif, REZO and Cathy Hummels, or the well-known podcast duo Lanz & Precht, the festival attracted over 70,000 visitors to Hamburg for two days. Our fynax managers Saravanan Sundaram and Nadja Müller (StB) as well as tax assistant Tim Hütte also shared their expertise with the audience on tax topics related to Amazon FBA and dropshipping. Another highlight was our cooperation with Germany's leading TikTok agency totally and the gradual establishment of our own TikTok presence. But speaking of Spotify Year in Review - we also had some very interesting guests this year in our podcast format "Thanks for Shopping!". Jakob Stehlow, for example, told us everything we need to know about meta and TikTok ads, while customs expert Markus Bitzer picked us up on the dos and don'ts of customs clearance for goods and product shipments for online retailers. A lot has also happened in our fynax blog! We went into the analytics tools and compiled the most clicked blog posts for you. You were most interested in the E-commerce trends 2023, our Galaxus exclusive interview with Swiss tax and fiduciary expert Dominik Baldegger and our E-commerce trend outlook to the year 2024.

Last but not least, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the readers of our fynax blog.
